Why Zephyr?
HWP has chosen Zephyr based upon the quality of their products and their reputation throughout the world. Through a series of meetings in Arizona, Detroit, and Grand Island, we have been working directly with the head of their new North American branch. This, along with working directly with Zephyr’s lead engineer has allowed us to realize the quality of the product as well as the people behind it.
Zephyr Airdolphin GTO:
The Airdolphin GTO (Grid TieOptimized) is Zephyr’s first grid-tied product for the U.S.market. Weighing in at approximately 43lbs and having a six foot blade diameter allows the Airdolphin GTO to be placed where larger turbines may not. With a conservative rating of 1.1kW the Airdolphin GTO is capable of scaling up its output as the wind increases. Measured outputs of up to 4kW confer the efficiency and quality of this turbine. We will post energy and power curves here shortly.
What’s next?
We received the first two Airdolphin GTOs in the U.S. on December 16th, 2009. Please feel free to call us or come take a look.
Jeff has just returned from the first Zephyr dealer training in Arizona. Husker Wind Power is the first factory authorized distributor in the U.S. Jeff will begin dealer trainings in Grand Island this July. Please contact us for more information.
